What is Empaithy?
Empaithy is a clinical workspace for behavioral health providers that drafts session notes while you listen, tracks patients between visits and suggests billing codes with supporting evidence. Clinicians approve every entry before it reaches the record.
The workflow runs from intake screenings such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7, through an in-session note drafted from the live conversation, to check-ins sent to patients through a companion Care app between appointments. Session audio is not stored, and draft notes include CPT and ICD-10 codes with the lines of evidence behind them.
Over time, scores and session notes are pulled together so a clinician can see how a patient is trending and ask questions about the case. A triage view flags responses that need attention. It is designed to sit on top of a practice's existing systems rather than replace the EHR.
