What is Dremio?
Dremio is a data lakehouse platform that queries data where it sits, built on Apache Iceberg, Arrow and Polaris. It adds an AI agent that answers questions in plain language and an AI semantic layer that gives agents and analysts a shared definition of the business data. Dremio is becoming part of SAP.
Teams use it to move off traditional warehouses onto open Iceberg tables, build a data fabric across sources and run fast SQL for dashboards and AI workloads. The intelligent query engine tunes performance automatically, and the open catalog is powered by Apache Polaris.
Dremio Cloud is fully managed and billed by compute usage, Dremio Enterprise runs on Kubernetes, on-premises or in your cloud, and a free Community Edition runs on a local machine or server. Cloud signups get a 30-day trial with $400 of credits and no card required.
