Dictanote
Freemium · $8/moNotes app with built-in voice typing in 50+ languages
What is Dictanote?
Dictanote is a browser-based notes app where you can switch between typing and dictating at any point, with speech-to-text in more than 50 languages and 80 dialects. Writers, students and professionals use it to draft chapters, take class notes and capture meetings by voice.
Dictation starts from the toolbar or a keyboard shortcut, and spoken commands add punctuation, new paragraphs, checklists or even smileys; you can also define your own commands. Notes are organised in notebooks, save automatically, sync to the cloud and stay available offline.
It runs in Chrome and Edge on desktop, Chrome on Android and Safari 26+ on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Pro removes note limits, adds hands-free dictation that keeps listening in the background and lets you share notes with up to 10 people, who can edit on the free plan.
