Azure OpenAI
PaidOpenAI models served from Microsoft Azure with enterprise controls
What is Azure OpenAI?
Azure OpenAI gives businesses access to OpenAI's reasoning, chat, image and speech models through Microsoft Azure, now as part of Foundry Models. Companies use it when they need Azure security, regional data handling and private networking around those models.
Models are deployed into your own Azure resource and called through an API compatible with OpenAI's, so existing code and SDKs mostly carry over. Fine-tuning is available for selected models, and you can ground answers in your own data or connect agents through Microsoft Foundry.
Access is governed with Microsoft Entra ID, role-based permissions, virtual networks and private endpoints, and content filtering is applied by default. Billing is pay-as-you-go per token, with provisioned throughput units for teams that need reserved capacity.
