Alumnium
FreeOpen-source AI test harness for web and mobile apps, with MCP
What is Alumnium?
Alumnium lets you write end-to-end tests as plain-language steps and checks that an AI model carries out through Selenium, Playwright or Appium. It is MIT licensed and serves both test engineers and coding agents that need to verify apps.
Engineers install the client for TypeScript, Python or Java and wrap their existing driver, then describe actions and assertions in plain English. Coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Grok Build connect through the bundled MCP server so they can click through an app and check results while they work.
You pick the AI provider, for example Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI, and supply its key. Recent releases added Firefox and Xcode support for web and iOS testing, and a test runner is included. The project is free and developed in the open with community channels on GitHub, Discord and Slack.
