What is Zoo Design Studio?
Zoo Design Studio is a CAD application from Zoo, formerly KittyCAD, that pairs a visual modeler with a code-based model definition and AI. Its Text-to-CAD feature generates editable parametric parts from a written description.
Every model is defined in the KCL language, so edits in the visual view update the code and vice versa, and models can be version-controlled like software. The AI generates or modifies parts from prompts, producing real B-rep geometry rather than meshes. Parts export to STEP, STL, glTF and other formats, and an API exposes the geometry engine to developers.
