What is VCam?
VCam is a Windows and Mac app that removes, blurs or replaces your webcam background in real time without a green screen. It is made by the XSplit team for remote workers, teachers, telehealth staff and streamers.
You install VCam and pick it as the camera in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord, OBS Studio or any other app that takes a webcam. From there you choose a blur, one of more than 1,000 virtual backgrounds or your own image, and add logos or other branding.
All processing happens on your computer using a segmentation model built with Intel and tuned for NPUs, so video is not sent to a server. Auto-framing keeps you centered, and business plans add central management for teams.
