Underleaf
Freemium · $12/moConverts handwritten math, PDFs and photos into compilable LaTeX
What is Underleaf?
Underleaf reads handwritten notes, scanned papers, whiteboard photos, spreadsheets and Word files and turns them into LaTeX that compiles. It is built for students, professors and researchers who would otherwise retype equations and tables by hand.
Multi-page documents go in as one upload, and equations, matrices, tables and figures keep their structure. You preview the typeset output, ask the AI to fix parts of it, then copy the source or download it into your usual editor.
Other tools generate tables and TikZ diagrams and help draft papers. A Chrome extension connects it to your browser, and the site also covers conference templates, deadlines and PDF accessibility remediation for universities.
