The Science App
FreeChecks claims against supporting and opposing peer-reviewed studies
What is The Science App?
The Science App takes a claim, such as whether seed oils are unhealthy, and searches peer-reviewed research for evidence on both sides. It then writes a balanced summary of how strong the evidence is, with links to every source.
Each analysis is split into supporting evidence, opposing evidence and a synthesis of the scientific consensus. A community feed shows claims other people have checked, and results can be shared.
Developers can request access to an API that returns the same evidence analysis as JSON for use in their own apps or AI agents. The app is part of the Imprnt project, and it warns that its AI summaries can be incomplete.
