Strut

Strut is a writing workspace for essays, articles, reports and manuscripts. You collect notes and sources, and its AI helps expand ideas, build an outline and write sections in your voice. It is designed for writers working on long documents rather than short messages.

A project keeps rough notes, developed passages, structure and the full draft connected. You can import PDF, Word, Excel, Markdown and text sources, invite reviewers to leave inline feedback, and keep version snapshots with Markdown export. The AI follows the context of the whole project when it writes.

The paid plan adds a Voice Profile that keeps whole manuscripts in your own style, audio note transcription, and AI images for chapters and covers. The free plan gives a daily token allowance for AI use, and a local workspace with one project.
