What is SpeechReader?
SpeechReader reads pasted text or PDFs aloud in more than 2,000 AI voices across 60-plus languages, highlighting each word as it is spoken. It suits people who prefer listening while walking, cooking or resting their eyes.
You add text, choose a voice from the Standard, Premium or Studio tiers, and set playback anywhere from half speed to four times speed. Paid plans also accept PDFs and photos of printed pages and allow audio downloads.
The free account gives about five minutes of audio a day with standard voices and no card. Paid tiers raise the daily credit allowance, add commercial use and priority support, and the top tier unlocks Studio voices. The interface is translated into 14 languages.
