What is Speechlogger?
Speechlogger transcribes speech in real time and translates it on the fly, and its Live Captions version broadcasts the captions to other participants. It has been around since 2015 and serves meetings, conferences, webinars and accessibility needs.
Several speakers can share one live-captions room, and attendees follow along with captions or translations on their own screens, whether the event is in person, hybrid or online. Meeting notes for phone or online calls can be generated with a single click.
The Live Captions product is an alpha release, while the original browser-based Speechlogger is still available for simple dictation and transcription. Many people previously used it by sharing their screen to show captions.
