SOAPNoteAI writes SOAP notes for therapists and other clinicians from typed text, dictation, an AI scribe, telehealth recordings or uploaded audio. The service describes itself as HIPAA-compliant and says it drafts a note in about two minutes.

Clinicians can record in-person sessions or capture telehealth calls, and the note is structured into subjective, objective, assessment and plan sections. A chat assistant named Penny edits or expands any section, and patient summaries prepare you for the next session from your note history.

New users can generate 20 notes free without a credit card. Subscriptions cap audio notes at 30 a month on Lite or lift the cap on Standard and Pro, and one-off packs such as Ultra, with a clinician review feature, are sold too. The company says over a thousand providers use it.
