Shortdeo

Shortdeo turns a long video into several short clips with subtitles. It detects scenes, crops to the most engaging segments, transcribes speech and can split the screen when multiple faces are present, with exports up to 4K.

The pipeline uses scene detection to find interesting parts, intelligent framing to isolate the segments, and automatic captions and transcription. A multi-face feature adds active speakers to a split screen. Output is vertical for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram.

The Free plan exports three clips a month with a watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark and raise clip counts, video upload length and project limits. The site says it disabled free trials because of spam but offers refunds.
