What is Postfleet?
Postfleet gives an AI agent its own email address to send, receive and reply through a REST API or MCP. Incoming mail is cleaned, checked for prompt injection, classified and extracted into your JSON schema before the agent sees it.
Each message passes through several stages: signed webhooks and deduplication, SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, HTML-to-text cleanup, removal of hidden text and zero-width characters, and virus checks on attachments. Every removal is logged in a sanitization report.
You supply a JSON Schema and get typed fields with a confidence score back, and a wait_for_email call lets an agent block until a reply arrives instead of polling. MCP works hosted or locally through npx, and paid plans add more mailboxes and custom sending domains.
