Poemly

Poemly writes poems from a short idea, letting you choose the form, tone, occasion and whether it should rhyme. It suits anyone who needs a poem for a card, speech or personal project, with no account or usage limit.

Forms include haiku, sonnet, limerick, villanelle, ode, elegy, acrostic and free verse, and the site says it writes to each form's rules. For forms with a fixed syllable count, a running meter in the margin shows the count as the poem streams in.

Occasion presets cover birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, sympathy, graduation and more. After generation every line is editable, so you can rewrite words, cut stanzas or retitle the poem, and a Surprise me option picks the settings for you.
