What is PodText?
PodText turns podcast episodes into searchable text from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, RSS feeds, YouTube captions or uploaded files. Each transcript comes with timestamps, chapters and an AI summary, for listeners and creators who want to find moments again.
Uploads can be audio or video up to 1 GB and six hours long, and links are parsed from sources including iHeart, Xiaoyuzhou and podcast.de. It auto-detects or lets you pick from more than 99 languages.
Transcripts open in a private reading workspace where you can search and jump to passages during playback, and export as TXT, Markdown, SRT or VTT. One credit equals one minute of audio, and pay-as-you-go packs never expire.
