Pixop
PaidMachine learning video enhancement for broadcasters and media archives
What is Pixop?
Pixop uses machine learning to improve video quality for broadcasters and media companies, for example turning HD sources into UHD HDR output. It fits into existing production and playout workflows, so studios can upgrade picture quality without rebuilding their infrastructure.
Pixop Prime is a licensed enhancement pipeline that runs in the customer's own cloud or data center, either in real time for live broadcast with around 600 ms latency or on files for VOD, library upgrades and remastering. One licence can be moved between those uses.
Pixop FILE is the managed alternative: you submit single videos or whole archives through a web app or REST API and get delivery-ready files back. The company says it has processed more than 400,000 videos over seven years of development and publishes technical articles on video coding.
