What is Mantlecore?
Mantlecore rents you a persistent Ubuntu computer in the cloud, called MantleOS, that you open in a browser. Its built-in agent, Mantle, carries out tasks in your apps, and Claude and Codex come installed on every machine.
Mantle can do a task for you or walk you through it, and it asks before anything that deletes, sends or buys. You can close the tab and it keeps going; when it finishes the computer rests until you return, picking up where you left off.
MantleOS is built on Ubuntu 26.04, so apps install through the App Center, apt, Flatpak or AppImage. Files are backed up daily. Each plan includes 160 awake hours, with extra hours billed from your balance up to a monthly cap.
