Kino
FreemiumVideo editor where you and AI agents share one timeline
What is Kino?
Kino is a desktop video editor that stores your footage, lets teams edit together and gives an AI agent access to the timeline. You can ask the agent for a cut, motion graphics or fixes, then adjust the result by hand.
Footage lives in Kino, where every clip is transcribed, described and searchable by what is said or shown. The editor runs on Mac, Windows and Ubuntu, and any outside agent can be connected through MCP, including Claude Code and ChatGPT.
Reviewers get a link and their comments land directly on the timeline, where the agent can reply to them. Motion graphics are built on Remotion, and more than 100 templates cover titles, maps, captions and transitions.
