KindredMind
Free trial · $99/moVoice and tablet companion for older adults living with dementia
What is KindredMind?
KindredMind is an AI companion that talks with an older parent or spouse with mild cognitive impairment or dementia on their regular phone or a tablet. Families set it up with details about the person, and it can speak in a friendly voice or a family member's voice.
The companion learns about the people, routines and topics the person cares about, answers whenever they call and makes scheduled calls. It gives gentle reminders, never tires of repeated questions, and sends call summaries and alerts to the family's phone.
It works in 15 languages. Plans are sold by monthly minutes, starting with short daily calls and going up to a routine modelled on the I-CONECT study, and there are separate options for memory care organizations. Five percent of each plan goes to a dementia charity the family picks.
