InterSub
Freemium · $6/moDual subtitles and AI word lookups for learning languages on Netflix
What is InterSub?
InterSub is a browser extension that shows two subtitle lines, in the language you are learning and your own, on YouTube, Netflix and other video sites. Hovering a word pauses the video and gives an AI-written definition with a translation of the surrounding context.
It works on YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Crunchyroll, Bilibili.tv and TED, plus course sites like Coursera, Udemy and LinkedIn Learning, with English, Spanish and about 30 other languages. When a video lacks subtitles in your language, an AI translator generates the second line.
Every word you look up is saved to a Wordbook with its context. You can review those words with spaced repetition in a Telegram bot or sync them to Anki. The extension runs in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
