Glotera AI

Glotera AI is a macOS app that translates text right inside the field you are typing in: add a trigger like @en and the original is replaced with the translation. It works in any app and covers more than 100 languages.

Besides in-place typing translation, you can select text anywhere on screen to see a floating translation, or capture part of the screen to translate text inside images and ask follow-up questions about it. A double tap of the space bar also triggers translation.

A WhatsApp copilot reads incoming messages in your language and translates your replies back into the sender's, without any trigger. The installer is under 5 MB, translation runs in the cloud so an internet connection is needed, and versions for other platforms are announced but not yet out.
