FlashcardX

FlashcardX uses AI to turn a short passage, such as part of an article or textbook, into flashcards of terms and definitions. You can save your sets and review them later, which suits students preparing for a test who want study cards without typing each one.

You paste a short prompt or excerpt rather than a link, as URLs are not supported, and the tool creates vocabulary terms and definitions to study. A counter shows how many credits you have left, and saved flashcards are available under My Flashcards.

The project was created by Talbert Herndon, and the site links to a public GitHub repository and a micro-learning community. A pricing page is available, though plan details were not in the reviewed text.
