Eyre
FreemiumEncrypted video meetings with optional AI summaries and notes
What is Eyre?
Eyre is a video meeting platform that positions itself as a privacy-first alternative to Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, with end-to-end encrypted calls and hosting in Canada or the EU. An optional AI copilot produces summaries, notes, transcripts and task lists using European language models.
The pitch is data sovereignty: no dependence on US-controlled cloud providers and open standards instead of vendor lock-in. AI can be switched off for sensitive conversations, and when it is on it uses only the data from your own meetings.
The site advertises free video meetings with no usage caps and no card required, and offers demos for organisations with compliance needs.
