EarDub
Freemium · $9.99/moBrowser extension that dubs YouTube and course videos into your language
What is EarDub?
EarDub is an extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox that plays an AI voice-over of a video in your chosen language, timed to the original speaker. It works on YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, Bilibili, X and other sites, so you can listen instead of reading subtitles.
It takes the video's captions, or on paid plans recognizes the speech when there are none, translates whole sentences with context and reads them in one of more than 300 neural voices across 75 languages. You can balance the volume of the original and the dub, and bilingual subtitles are shown.
No video is uploaded and playback starts without waiting. Chapter summaries are included, and the Pro plan adds study notes and unlimited dubbing time under fair use.
