Critique
Freemium · $2.99/moBrowser extension that fact-checks posts and articles as you read
What is Critique?
Critique is a browser extension that checks claims on the pages you read and adds citation-style notes. It runs automatic fact-checks on posts from Reddit, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Threads, and lets you right-click any text to have it vetted.
Articles are cross-referenced and summarised in real time, and a side panel lets you chat with the current page using live search. Critique Flow, opened with a keyboard shortcut, adds your open tabs to a prompt and returns answers with annotations.
You can exclude sources you don't want used in critiques. The free plan covers unlimited manual checks, while Premium adds detailed automatic fact-checking with reliability scores and checks on images. Mobile apps are on a waitlist.
