What is ChatMapper?
ChatMapper is a canvas for writing branching conversations, used for games, training simulations and interactive stories. Writers lay out dialogue as connected nodes, test the logic in a simulator, and can let AI suggest lines that they approve before they are added.
Scenarios are built from nodes with conditions and variables, and the simulator plays them back so you can see whether every branch resolves. A validation step checks the paths before export. Finished work can go to Unity, Yarn Spinner, SCORM, xAPI, an HTML player or LearnBrite's immersive 3D runtime.
Projects can be imported from older ChatMapper files and from Arcweave, Twine, articy:draft or spreadsheets. AI features run on your own keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, HeyGen or Synthesia, and the tool also works with AI turned off. Paid plans add storage, AI credits and shared workspaces for teams.
